Steni Colour Reuse Panels Embody Circular Construction

Steni Systemizes Recycling of Steni Colour Reuse Rainscreen Panels

Steni has incorporated environmental sustainability in the production, processes, and distribution of its rainscreen panels by minimizing the negative environmental impact for years. Steni Panels have a 60-year warranty and an expected lifetime of 100 years. Unfortunately, past demolition of buildings has resulted in Steni Panels being sent to a landfill.

From Landfill to Reuse

Steni Colour Reuse façade panels were designed to be reused several times over their 100-year lifespan. The extremely long life span and technical qualities of Steni Colour Reuse make it possible to assemble, disassemble and reinstall the panels without them being destroyed in the process.

12 Panels Sizes, 80 Standard Colors, 3 Gloss Levels

Steni Colour Reuse Panels Sizes

Steni Colour Reuse comes in 12 different panel sizes with standard drilling patterns, 80 standard colors, and 3 gloss levels. From a design standpoint, the panels can be rearranged in nearly limitless patterns during their lifespan. The horizontal, vertical, and diagonal installation gives architects and builders the freedom to create new designs for each new building. When the panels have outlived their lifespan, they can be broken down into small fragments and used for filler in new façade panels, roof and tunnel membranes, concrete reinforcement, insulation, or other building materials.

Steni Colour Reuse Embodies Circular Construction

A circular economy approach requires us to think of the components of a building as a material ‘bank’ in which elements can be taken apart and reused in future projects.

Steni believes that reusing materials as they are is a solution to the world’s environmental and raw material challenges. Products like Steni Colour Reuse are a good choice by reusing them directly on new buildings.
