Petrarch Custom #1536, #1535A, #1535B, Smooth and Smooth Matte
The Webster Place project involved the transformation of an existing building to prepare for Advocate Health’s new 70,000-square-foot medical facility. The owner’s objective was clear – refresh the core and shell of the structure with a durable, modern façade solution that aligned with both performance expectations and budget realities. Petrarch Planx composite stone slimline panels custom colors #1536, #1535A, #1535B in Smooth and Smooth Matte were ultimately chosen for the exterior envelope.
The Challenge
We were under a serious budget crunch,” said Randy Coakley, Novak Construction project lead. “When Matt Martino from Blue Line Building Products mentioned there was an option that matched the look of the spec but came in at a better price point, we were immediately interested.”
Omnis worked with the team to offer a cost-effective alternative that met the design intent without compromising quality.
Collaboration and Support
Everyone communicated well – no surprises, no hiccups. It made the whole process easy on our end,” Coakley noted.
The partnership between Omnis, Blue Line Building Products, Gensler, and Novak Construction ensured material selections, ordering, and delivery were aligned with project timelines.
Installation and Outcome
The finished façade looks great. The install went as expected, and the product performed exactly how we needed it to. We’re already using Omnis on our next project – that tells you everything,” Coakley added.
Webster Place stands as a budget-conscious, design-forward renovation that met the owner’s goals and delivered long-term value. With strong collaboration and responsive support, Petrarch Planx proved to be the right material at the right moment.
